Geisinger Health System

The Geisinger Health System is a 13,000 employee health care provider and insurer whose flagship hospital facility, the Geisinger Medical Center, has been located in the Central Pennsylvania town of Danville since 1915. As part of it’s commitment to its community, Geisinger has built a new office building for key administrative departments in the downtown on Danville’s historic Mill Street.

This 33,000 sf. Structure’s main façade addresses the contextual scale and rhythms of one of central Pennsylvania’s best extant collection of late-nineteenth century Italianate commercial architecture. The design was reviewed and approved by the Danville Historic Architecture Review Board.

Occupied in early 2010, the building is under final review by the US Green Building Council for LEED Silver Certification.
