The owners wished to
add a large porch and deck addition to an existing 1929 Tudor home. The
requirements were for various levels of outdoor space, including screened
areas, covered areas, and uncovered areas. The architects developed a
structural solution with wood and stone elements which recalls the existing
home. Stone walls extend the realm new construction into the landscape.
